As this is my first bike I have a few basic questions,

How long after the bikes run in should I change the oil and what oil do you all use?

Hi Mate, Good to have you onboard, if you look at page 42 it will tell you the service interval for engine oil changes, the first one is 150km then the next at 1000.
the oil type depends on the temprture in your area , see page 46 , it gives you a good guide.
but 15w40 is a good bet for warm weather.
any oil with out friction modifers works ok as long as it falls in the right range on the chart
i use valvoline engine armour 15w40.
remeber oil is cheap so change often as themotor only has a small screen and no oil filter like most bikes.

You mentioned a manual, did this come with the bike or is this from the CG125?

The 'Ace' should have a copy of Operation Instruction supplied with it.

I've attached a pdf copy, but the relevant page 46 is unreadable, and the real thing is not much better.

The black bars read from top to bottom: 10W, 20W, 20W, 30W, 40W and 20W40/20W50, 15W40/15W50, 10W40, 10W30.

The Celsius temperature scale reads: -10 0 10 20 30 40oC

The equivalent Honda manual, for engine work, is the CG125. If you would like a digital copy I can post one.

Yep, I changed oil at
500 + check valve clearance.
Change oil every 1000
Checked valve clearance at 2k & 4k
Will probably check every 2k as both times needed a liil adjustment.
Yamalube 10w40 mineral oil
