Hi, I've just joined the site to get inspiration for my project cafe racer. I've purcahsed a 1983 VX500 as I like the idea of a V-twin. The VX 500 was never imported to the UK so should be an usual bike here once I'm finished it, although I am wondered if I've just bought an expensive pile of nuts and bolts!

I am not familiar with the XV500, but I have seen quite a few very nice XV920 cafes and customs.

I look forward to seeing where you take the project.

Welcome to the mad house man ! dont think ive heard of the bike either but i like the Vtwin idea also . Should be cool to watch !
