Newfoundland - What happened to everyone?

Action on the forum, haha.

Allright so a ride this weekend is in. Anyone have a preference as to where, what time?
(other than that it has to be in the afternoon)

If mornings is better for you guys please go on without me, I don't want to throw off the ride.

I'm not too keen on highway riding (find it a bit boring) so a coastal route would be good.

As for where, I guess it depends on how long a ride we want to go for. If we just want an hour or so, maybe Petty Harbour/Cape Spear via Goulds. Or we could do a Marine Lab/Middle Cove/Bauline Line/Portugal Cove/Paradise type of swing.

Any other ideas? I'm a total townie and don't have a clue what exists (if anything ;D) past the overpass, so if you know some good routes, I'm game.
 
Yeah highway is pointless on the bike for sure (unless you're just out to do the TON). 8)

I'm down for an afternoon ride on either of those routes.

Actually I haven't taken a shore run all summer, oddly enough, so I think that would be my choice (rather than my usual favourite, Petty Harbor - Me and Mossy did that run before I left)...

Traffic would probably be on the go then, but maybe not too-too bad.
 
My chose would be Marine Lab to Paradise kind of run, I don't like the Southern Shore run at all and Saturday would be better for me, after lunch, around 1:30. Seeing you and Deacon live close, me and Mossy could probably meet you around Bowring Park.

So would 1:30, Bowring Park (duck pond / under the bridge), saturday be good for everyone?

Hope you read this, I can't go today, besides its raining down here. My g'mother passed away last night and Dad has a full schedule.

Did you get out for your ride, maybe we can try for the coming weekend.
 
Yeah, we got out for a run. Five bikes showed up. It was a bit cold but not too bad. The only issue we had was that Mossy kept slowing us down, he doesn't like to go very fast ;D ;D

LOL, I don't know how you did it. I had layers on and was still really cold. Had to get a shower when I got home to thaw out.

Close, Black Head. I went for a ride on Sunday with a couple of buddies. Trying to squeeze in as much time on the bike as possible before it's too late.
 
Sorry guys for the sprited pace...... It's just that Victoria likes it "FAST". ;D
I'm in for another run this weekend, I'll pull one plug wire before we go, that should slow her down. :D :D

I'm down for a ride too. Gonna have to invest in a long sleeve this time though... And bump starting my bike is a pain, but whatever.

Never heard back from anyone so I went to the SAR Tech thing down by the lake. What about Sunday, you will have to let me know early.
