Is there a Nitrohead seat that will bolt up on an 82 GS450 with little or no mods? Ineed one that will support my self an a passenger on the back. If so where i can I find one? Thus far my searches havent turned up much.
I built my own. in the passenger peg locations. I feel that having rear sets on a bike this small would eliminate locations for passenger pegs, or interfere with the foot controls of the driver.
I may wind up fabing my own seat, I saw one through the fence at salvage yard that I think might work but the yards hours of operation and my hours away from work and school havent lined up the couple of weeks.
I'm open to any suggestion on anybrand that might work at this point
Airtech offers several seats. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/vintage/vintageseats_round.htm
the reason I bring them up is they give good measurements on their products. And, if you select the seat and then hit the "More Photos" they usually show you a pic of the bottom with the measurements written at the various locations.
Me, that's outta my budget and make my own seat pans out of fibreglass and cover them myself. :
Thanks for the link but out of my price range too. i can get get some scrap aluminum from a friend then cut it my self at work. I'm horriable at fiberglass work or I'd go that route. I need to find inexpensive upholstery shop near by
