I've been working on my ds7 for a few hours here and there and can't seem to get spark to the right side cylinder. I have switched everything from that side to the other and vise versa and all electrical components seem to be in working order but still no spark to the right side. (left sparks with everything) Any suggestions? Or solutions? Or anyone in the Rochester ny area that would want to take a look and possibly help me out.
Thanks -Goodell
As mentioned before check points. If points are good, check resistance through the coil. And check wiring. I have seen wires brake near the points plate.
Well after trying a ton of stuff I finally got her to fire up. Bought a wiring harness off eBay and it solved my problem. Well at least i think it did. Didn't really have the time to tune everything once it fired but it did seem to fire both cylinders and run. Guess the next time I get some free time to work on it again I'll find out if it was a hoax of if I will really be our riding soon.
