Nice body kit. Tank looks more like Gus Khun than Dunstall.

I have owned several genuine tanks and fairings over the years and I would prefer a modern copy to an original because the resins have changed and should be less prone to dissolving in ethanol based fuels. Others may perefr originality over practicality though.

It was sold to me as a Dunstall, but I've been told before it looked like a Reg Curley or Gus Kuhn. One or both of them build bodywork for various resellers back in the day...

As I recall things most f/g parts were made by companies that specialized in that and not by the "Name" companies that sold them. Rickman were made by Mitchenall Bros - the company that owned AVON. I have no idea who made f/g parts for Paul Dunstall. I think Reg Curley made stuff for others as well as his own company, but it was not too clear back in the day and has been lost in the mists of time...

Curley are still making GRP parts so maybe there's a story there. Their website seems to suggest that they were the manufacturer for Dunstall and Gus Khun. http://www.grpfibreglass.co.uk/about-us Sooooo I guess they all came from the same shop.

Good luck with your sale.
