True sirWorse. The twist caps don't damage the insulation or meke hidden reduction in wire size.
So I timed my points used a test light and they are getting power but still have no spark Idk what Im missing ?Ha yes
This is a good start as well. If I have the time I'll scan the whole section of my honda FSM for ignition trouble shooting. It has all the steps and checks for the whole shebang. THat being said if you've ordered the Dyna kit you will replace almost all the parts for new and will fix it for sure.I cannot remember what else you have checked, but did you check the plug caps and shorten the HT (plug) leads 1/4" or so?
I have not bit of a poor boy in these times lol but will be ordering in like a week or so was just trying to see if I could get it going before hand but maybe I should do everything else like hook up andbplumb the radiator and put the brakes on and bleed them ectThis is a good start as well. A big one is the condenser ground. If that is crappy you may get no spark at all from the points.
And yeah I pulled a plug I dont have fuel plumbed yet have to clean the gas tank outHe says no spark. I assume hes pulled a plug to check that but if not it could be fueling issue.
Yup exactly Im working one problem at a timeK so you are just trying to get spark before you move to fuel. That works
