I was thinking the same thing. There's no way a local wouldn't have known all those cars were in there when the guy died. And someone welded up the door they had to know.
Reminds me of the time when a motorcycle dealers changed hands due to the owner passing away.
In the back there was several rooms filled so badly with clutter you could hardly open the doors. Once the clutter had been cleared out it revealed several unopened freight boxes containing motorcycles, as I remember it, there where several Harleys, a RC24 and a NR750! All mint and with 0 miles.
They carefully unpacked the NR750, gave it a bit of oil, some gas and a fresh battery and it fired up at first touch. My balls would have dropped right off..
Thats what I found Interesting about that show American pickers, when they would go into those backwoods areas find some falling down barn that would just have the best jewel tucked inside. There is that ep when they end up a some guys place and its just full of old bikes (outside though) thats the place I want to find. We do have 2 cool places that I know of here in Melb Aust, the largest motorcycle wreckers in the southern hemisphere (nothing pre 90's unfortunately) and the largest classic bike dealer that im aware of. Keeps me excited lo.....
