Wow, there are some nice bikes this month.

I must say I am just proud to be up with the other guys, I can remember buying my bike and joining this site. And hoping that one day I would make it to the Show and Shine section as that would mean the bike was finished. To make it to Bike of the Month also is very humbling indeed.

The back ground to the bike is that this is the very first bike that I have ever stripped down and rebuilt, so it was a big project for me.

I bought the bike as a barn find (as you will see if you look at my build thread link under my signature). I had a thought in my head of how I wanted it to look but then had to find a way to get there. The only jobs I didn't carry out myself on the bike were the powdercoating on the rims and the welding of the seat loop.

The bike has come a long way and I know that the orange probably isn't to some people's taste but I love orange and I hope I have done it tastefully.

Here is a link to both the build and the show and shine....

Damn, that looks nice 66rep. Great attention to detail. I'm not a fan of that seat style ( not my thang) but the rest of the bike more than makes up for it. Nice job.

These pics are less artistic, but they do show the bike..

Thanks, teazer. I'm super jealous of your bike. As a recent 2 stroke convert, I have a ton of appreciation for it.

I am humbled by the nomination. I think there are many other worthy bikes out there but I am very glad that others like it.

Here are some pics of my bike down at Kiley's during Barber.

One last shot from the CRTV/DCC/DTT show at Barber...a little bit of CafeMatty's bike as well!

All pretty sweet, going with stidds on personal preference though ! Nice work guys

I always vote by what I would want to ride first, but give credit to the "simple" builds.

Mothgils 550 is pretty rad. Something really catchy about its subtle classic style.

In the end though, I like wide bars and sliding around on gravel occasionally...

The 66rep and Mothgils cb550 both appeal to me. I love the flat seats without the rear bump. All AMAZING bikes though.... It's too difficult to pick!

pretty much all bikes this month are bad @$$!!!! But I gotta say Cafematty's "Airhead" looks like some kind of alien space motorcycle from that pic. I love it!!!!!

I can't remember if I voted... does that mean I get to vote again? :)

The site won't let me vote twice. :(
If you can vote, chances are that you haven't yet. :)
Cafematty needs to post more pics, for the bumz that weren't at Barber, not that pics do that paint justice. 8)

Yeah for some reason I completely had my head somewhere else for this whole voting / botm thing.... Hence ignoring requests for photos... I always vote, and yet this time it just never crossed my mind..

It doesn't matter anyway.. the best man won.. Congrats Skyler! :D
