That isn't a difficult modification. Harley Davidson and Indian both sold kits for their baby bikes to be year long riding machines. Outriggers sporting wide wooden skis (old time waterskis work perfectly for this), knobby rear tire -and/or- a chain, some kits you could drop out the front wheel and replace it with a pivoting wooden ski...

I've owned factory kits for the old 45 inch Harley, and for every displacement of Indian Scout. The hard ones to find are for the Big Twins, be they sidevalve Harley, sidevalve Chief or OHV Harley. Or any non-BMW European bike.

The kits mount via the factory installed side car loop castings on the frame.
