Nominate your fave bike for BOTM honors. You Nominate, someone else Seconds and the Nominee Accepts and the bike is in for the vote.

1. Nominate one of our member's bike for Bike of the Month - include some flattering pictures of the bike in question as well as a link to their build thread if they have one and their DTT user name.

2. Someone seconds the nomination

3. Member accepts the nomination

We will accept nominations until we get a reasonable number of nominees (5-10 or so).

Then a poll will be set up and voting will take place for the remainder of the month. Whoever ends the voting period with the most votes wins!

As a reward, we will use a picture of the winner's bike on the site banner for the following month.

Remember - give us a link to the bike's thread and some pics here too!

I never give up so, I would like to nominate CC Riders “ Espresso Love” (again). I am not even really sure why I like this bike so much, but I really love it. I think it has a great vintage look that I find very appealing. CC spent a ton of time working every miniscule detail to create an outstanding bike. “Espresso Love” to me represents everything that DTT is about, the love of a machine by its builder. Spending countless hours wrenching in the garage and going to your day job with grease under your nails, listening to your significant other going “I wish you spent that much time with me” or “you stink, take a shower”, and then riding the machine you built the way you wanted it!

I have included links to CC’s threads in order for you who are not familiar with his work to get more acquainted with it. If you have seen his work, take a chance to look through his tank thread again, just to realize the amount work and time that went into it and see how many users his post helped!

This bike was one of the first start to finish builds I watched on this site and it has inspired me in many ways. I feel this bike speaks volumes about its builder and the spirit of DTT!

Sorry Tschiffely, but another member must nominate your bike for it to be in the runnings. It is a very nice bike and I believe it fits right in with some of the top builds on this site.

Do you have a build thread for it here?

Could you link us to a thread that shows some of the processes you went though in the building or at least tell us about the bike and build of it?

It does look great though, and I look forward to learning more about the build! That tank looks killer!

traveler nominated himself here once upon a time........and well, we all know how that turned out.haha

I'll nominate Tschiffely's Yamaha Maxim 650 for him! Fits with the ethics of the site I think. And it's just nasty.

i totaly accept, thanks guys, its still got its little things to tinker with as any vintage bike, but let me tell you, ripping down the street with open pipes is a wonderfu thing.
haha
again, thanks a ton!

Having been honored with a nomination and second, how can I refuse. But let's make this the last time, OK tWisted :)

Thanks, CC

Holy - lots of nominating activity in the last couple days. What are we up to? I've lost track - might be time to close it off and start voting.
