of bolts and boots

i got new intake boots for my mikunis but the engine use as 6x1 bolt and the new boots are sized for an 8mm bolt...

any recommendations?

Cut a small piece of thinwall tubing and sleeve the bolts. Or have a machinist cut you some shouldered bolts that have the correct threads but will snugly fit the boots.

or copper... rubber will deform as you try to tighten it down and may make things a bit weird.

lol....timing belt cover bolts from an integra or civic. they are 8 mm shoulders and 6 mm thread i believe
