Thanks. Ive poked around on here for a few months and Im from Miami. Some other build details. The tank and tail are from Benjie and I have red anodized aluminum excels to lace on stainless spokes to the hubs. Im still on the hunt for a 'ribbed' style front hub to match the rear. Lots of good inspiration on this site. Im working on some stainless adjustable hangers for rear sets now.

Looks like a fun project, sir.

What's in the flight case next to your frame?

Stuff ???

Spending tonight removing casting marks from the steel lower triple tree. Not fun, but necessary for a smoooooth look.

Round 2 of project clean engine. First was scrubbing/foaming engine cleaner. Soda blasted yesterday. Caused a monumental mess on my patio, but the engine is virtually bare. More detailing to come.

where did you get the intake manifolds for a 4-2 setup?

love the tank from benji-- i just did a benji tank for a friend, be careful with the fuel petcock install
it was a major PINTA and the darn thing had a life's mission to not thread right, and strip out.

not BASHING Benji, just a word of caution to do it right the first time.

the quality is good, the tanks are heavy, and before end painting a person needs to go over them with some filler to fill the minut cast marks

as far as the fuel petcock the machine screws were ditched for a over sized self tapping sheet metal screw, and sealer to hold it.

what is that underside pic?
the gas tank only holds fuel in that metal box?
did it come from benji like that or did u mod it?

Oil tank hidden in the gas tank, maybe?

You got it. Went with a glass and steel tank to avoid any heat transfer issues. It will have two flip caps, left gas, right oil.
