Official "Show off your helmet" thread

Not to spam too many helmet threads, but I thought I'd throw in pics of the Biltwell novelty fitment since mine came in the mail yesterday:

Found this cool Porsche Design Romer at a hot rod swap meet this weekend for $5. Cool slide up and down visor still intact. Pretty bad ass looking.

Here's another shot of the Romer with the visor down.

Inspired by Loco Leons helmet collection, I keep adding to mine. This time I finally found a way to incorporate a mask as well, but rather than the old iron jaw style (which I couldnt find) I just trimmed a paintball mask to fit!

I was a Shoei or AGV guy...but changed to these a year or so back. Got two, love both of them.

Here's a couple of pics of my helmet and riding gear:

I was sort of going for the 'Post-apocalyptic-death-spartan' look that's popular these days. Seems I can't go anywhere without some jerk saying "Oh look, another post-apocalyptic-death-spartan... pshh."

Sorry for the bad image quality but since the nuclear holocaust, the electromagnetic fields and constant barrage of radiation do a number on digital equipment.

Also, my cellphone is a piece of shit.

Can't remember if I submitted mine or not, so here goes. Thanks goes out to Loco Leon for the inspiration:

The helmet is a Z1R Jimmy Bandit, with God-awful gold, late 70s graphics, but the fit was perfect and so was the price, so I shot it in Matte Black Duplicolor wheel paint.

The chinbar was actually handmade, usinga 6"x12" piece of polycarbonate. after it was handformed with help from my heat gun, and the air passages craved out, it received several dust coats of adhesion promoter and finished in black,, sprayable Plasti Dip, to give it a matte, rubberized exterior. All in all, not bad for my first try.

Bone, thats pretty awesome looking actually. Seems you can still find decent supplies in the wasteland.
Scavenging supplies is pretty easy, it's the sneaking around the vicious mutants unnoticed that's the challenge.

I took a slightly better picture of my helmet and my wife's.

I found the shield for hers today in a pile of blown engines, hence the scratches. It's still clear enough to see the road and I think it adds character.

This is my wife's Spoiler. We bought it new in 1974 and the brown flake nearly matched a BSA A65L we had at the time. Her name was painted by a very famous pinstriper...another story for another time. We are having it relined in the near future, but it only sits on a shelf.

Thanks! I need to redo the stickers on it as these are starting to look rough already, I think I need to stop by somewhere to get some good gloss ones made up.
