Oh my... Shinya Kimura is definitely my new favorite person.

And he's not afraid to use them. Shinya's knuck at El Mirage dry lake.

saw that pic showcased in a Barnett's magazine. Real eye catcher. Glad to see that it's not a trailer bike.

A trailer queen it isn't. I was beside him in tech on Saturday and the SCTA have certain standards. One of them being a covered primary. His knuck had an open primary. The tech official told him what he needed to do and off he went. He showed up Sunday morning with the coolest looking aluminum primary cover. Made overnight with apparently no effort I have to say that my respect level for him rose considerably. I snapped this while we were in line. Cool bike, not necessarily to my taste, but one really cool guy. BTW he ran 107 on this run.

If you look in the photo behind his leg you'll see a cast iron car exhaust manifold! Its part of his style but not exactly what you would call a "tuned exhaust". 107 is more than respectable for what is really a show/cruiser. Dave Iverson runs a Knuck at El Mirage and Bonneville. His is built as a racer. Here he is at El Mirage in the lights at 145+. 145+ from a knuck!! Dave builds good motors. Sorry for the crappy photo. I stole it from the SCTA website.
