Oil Pan Drain Screw Threading is broken!

So after wrestling off the oil filter ( See this thread: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=46768.0 )
and as I'm going to screw the drain bolt back I start ratcheting it and bam! The screw falls off with little metallic pieces of the oil pan threading with it. Now I'm asking myself, should I buy a whole new oil pan or are there any ticks out there that would get this to work with the current oil pan? I'm thinking a gasket sealer or something to that degree. Any ideas?

Can you not tap it to a larger size?

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I just did a google search for stripped threads and found tons of info. Purchasing a tap and die set from amazon now.
