Old school speed rear sets

Shortround

Coast to Coast
A shout out to old school speed. I used a set on my cb750 project. He even cut me some 3/4 spacers to get the spacing correct. I've used four sets on various projects. If you can't make them work you probably shouldn't be working on a motorcycle. For the money they can't be beat.

Nice rear sets. I would have flipped the shifter the other way up to avoid dragging it on the ground at high lean angles.

If you drag that you've already fallen over. :)

Learning here so please dont burn me too much lol... the only thing you had to do to make these rear-sets fit was to order some spacers as well?

I hate to sound like a noob, but how are those mounted to the frame? Is there a bracket welded on to the frame that they are bolted to? Please if its not to much of a hassle, can you post a pic of the frame minus the bracket the rear sets are mounted on? I'm working on a 79 CB650 and have read many posts on this issue and I definitely want to remove the passenger foot peg bracket instead of mounting my rearsets to them because they feel too high and far back there.

They mount to where the pass brackets are. On smaller bikes (<400cc) it's not a bad fit at all. I can see how it would be a bad fit on a bigger bike like yours, though.

Hey Short, Tews19 from the SOHC site here. I joined tonight and I am hoping you can lead me to the OLdschool person who did your sets? New to the site so finding things is still new.

Thanks for all the 550F parts..
