a long time ago i bought a one piece cb125 head with oversized valves from a member here. what would i need to do to a stock engine to utilize this head?
.
it depends how much they butchered it . . you can put stock valves it it or put a big bore cylinder kit in it or try it as is . . i would think it would be best to build the engine how you want instead of letting oversized valves dictate what you build.
Oversize intake valve usually is a real good idea without much of a downside
You will need to check valve to piston clearance and valve to valve clearance with the cam your going to use.
Otherwise, no problem as long as the head fits cylinder and studs are long enough to hold things together (you probably need new cylinder studs )
