Paddock stands

I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Has anyone got the answer on the mods for a paddock stand to make it work on the Ace?

I use an old bike battery lying on its side under the sidestand then lift bike by hand (not hard) up onto a chassis stand under the muffler at the same point but opposite to sidestand. I put a rag over chassis stand to keep from damaging header.

Another option- remove exhaust when you want to use stand. 3 bolts.

Paddock stand is great but my hydroloic lift gets more use.
