patch for the East Coast

Coast to Coast
I had been thinking about this for a bit was wondering what you guys thought

Standard head banner "Do The Ton"

Bottom banner would be "East Coast Rockers"

I am one for tradition the cafe guys of 50's and 60's were rockers vs the scooter guys of the same era who were mods

I am all for democratic process so shout out what you think!

The idea of using "Retro Speed" as the bottom banner line has been tossed into the ring

noted I apprecaiet the input. I have been working it out that the east coast is to big for 1 patch so there should be some separation but not sure.
second idea was I hashed with some members
Any input? I know I have seen bumper stickers Built not Bought on everything from rovers to old 50's hot rods
but the fact is that most of us have more than our share of sweat and blood into these rides and we take pride in that.

on the top "DTT East Coast"
On the bottom " Built not Bought"
 
Just FYI one of the members in CT MBS has graciously offered to workup some possible patches so we all get a good look to see what could be done. Should be up in a few days will keep every body informed

Again I encourage anybody to give ideas this could be used with minor adjustment for several areas of anywhere really.

Only thing I can think of is stay away from crossed pistons, everyone seems to be using them, I will think of some ideas and let you know in the next couple of days.

+1 I agree with that..
Id try to keep the classic image intact but add anything you want to the top or bottom or even behind...
the more simple the design, the easier & cheaper it would be for Carter to make!!

I cant wait to see what you guys come up with!!..

The NOR-PAC guys and the Ohio guys are putting up something as well!!.. LOL...

we were thinking of keeping the spade but putting e.c in the center of it or maybe like you canadian doing "East Coast Ton-Up" on top banner and running either "Racers Built Not Bought" or just "Built Not Bought" on the bottom banner

I think MBS is going to work up a few designs and then everyone can see where we are at and help decide what is best.

maybe we can run a poll

The only thing I would recommend is to stay away from using the phase " Ton-UP", just because we are not associated or affliaited with the Ton-Up club in any way and they have rights to that..

Finally got it opened, I like the bottom one.
 
this is good I think most of the feedback so far from pm and open coments is the bottom with east coast in the spade is winning I am going to wait a bit to make sure we get as many people to weight in on the topic.

Yep - I like the bottom one - E.C. might be a tad confusing. Sign me up for a couple when they're ready!
