Here's a first post, y'all.
My name is Steve and I have been building cafe bikes a lot longer than I have been using computers. I am in Austin, and I like to build smaller Jap bikes. First things first, I sign in as Fang, as in, "The Fang," the Nervous Norvus song. Don't know what I am talking about? Download/listen to The Fang.mp3 by CLICKING HERE. I'm glad we got all that out of the way.

I like to build cafe racers. I have built about a bike or two a year since 1992, or something like that. I recently finished and sold a slick little 1970 Suzuki t350. click the pic to go to some additional pictures and videos of this bike:

It is funny, I don't build bikes to sell them, but somehow I always end up selling them. I think I just love building old bikes. "If only I had an extra grand or two, and I'd snatch up this new project and really make it something cool...." Or, "Dang those damn credit cards! I sure could use some spending/get outta debt money right now...."

I currently am working on two bikes, a 1975 RD350 and a '69-'78 SOHC CB750. I will post some pics of those too.

Peace and grease,
Steve

Welcome to the site Steve. With all your builds, I'm sure your experience will help and inspire others here. Hope you can also get some inspirations from others on the site.

Do you have any pics of some of the previous bikes you've built? How about the two your currenlty working on?

Love the one in the pic you posted, very nice work.

Hey man, next time I'm in Austin we'll have to meet up and go ride 1431 between Lago Vista and Marlboro Falls...
