Picking accent part colors for future bike scheme/help

Been Around the Block
I don't know if the title makes any sense but these is what im doing. Im painting the bike pearl white and turquoise/blueish mint green and I want to know if black goes with it. I have chrome clip-ons, chrome rear suspension, hopefully get black progressive 444, and chrome forks that will have black gators. I don't really know if there is a difference in eyelet sizes between the viragos but 444s only come in 12" and the 412s don't come in black for the 86 xv700. So if anybody could help me with that it would be cool man/woman.

So my idea is to get rid of most of the chrome on the bike except the forks and bars. So I really like to know if these colors would go together pearl white, turquoise, some chrome and black. I would like to have black rearsets, hand controls, and a yosh exhaust tip. The exhaust will probably be wraped in white or back.

Thanks to members of DTt, yall are a big help in my first major project.

So will a carbon fiber exhaust tip go with a bike that is pearl white and mint green with a brown leather seat and brown grips.

A nice contrasting color to the mint green/turquoise would be a bronze, gold, copper, or a nice red orange. All would add a nice little punch to the pearl white as well.

Not a bike, but... chrome, black, white and blue/green. Belongs to a guy in one of the truck/car groups I belong to. They seem to go well together, IF you like late 40s to mid 60s color schemes.

I can probably find more versions of the combo. But, you said white over blue green...

I am not a big fan of the color scheme that your explaining. But that is because I can't see your vision of it. There are so many bikes that I have seen on here that I would not have painted the same as the builder did... But it turned out really amazing. Sometimes the quality alone can make any color combo look amazing. My uncle and his friend tried to pain a classic dodge van a flat black with semi gloss black detailing and some chrome.. It all sounded amazing on paper and turned out horrible. I would really be interested to see how you pull this bike off. If I was to paint a bike in vintage colors, I would follow a color scheme of a classic car, match paints with interior and exterior colors and note that to other builders as a feature of your bike. Like... this color scheme is taken from the 1947 Chevy ...so and so... That would be kinda cool. Anyways, points to you sir for stepping out of the very common "flat black" approach.

I could see this with an emerald green or a candy apple metallic green. Just not a big fan of mint/turqoise/aquamarine. Just my opinion though - I'm a big believer in doing what YOU think looks good. But once you commit to that frame colour it's a bith to do it over.
