another build from about 4-5 years ago. started life as a $200 CM nighthawk. It ended up being a hode-podge of various CM, CB bike parts in the end. This was a tracker style before tracker style was "cool".

this was about 5 years ago. Started life as a crappy, $100 XS650 yamaha. In the end, turned out to be a cafe/ tracker/ scrambler style mix. This was another bike that I regret selling. I really liked the stance, look and sound of it. I sold this a guy in New Zealand.

one more post for today.
This is my most recent build. Started life as a $600 Suzuki T500.
I literally replaced, restored or rebuild every single part on this bike. I set out to build this bike from the beginning to keep. This will be part of my personal collection for years to come. It sounds awesome, is very reliable and is a total hoot to drive. Look for my next project in the spring of 2017- a recently acquired CX500

I really dig what you did with the rear fender on that Nighthawk. Do you have closer pics, or a link to a build thread?

I just hacked down a leftover rear fender from a different bike and welded it under the hoop in back. Here is a link to a feature on bike shed that shows more pics
