Here are some pics of some of the bikes. There were Nortons, BSAs, Triumphs, a Zundapp, Velocette, Ariel. I didn't take much pics. Will source more pics and post them here. Three of the BSAs were cafe racers.

Very nice bikes...
Did you meet any of the owners? cuz I was just wondering what the age demographics are of the guys who ride those bikes.

The bikes were owned by different age groups. Some have been owned from one generation to another.

The rally was held in Bombay. I hadn't taken much pics. These pics were posted on the biggest, most renowned and respected Indian Forum. Most or all of them are of cars ;)

I thought you guys knew about this. Well here is a direct link: www.geocities.com/autofcs/crp/crp.html

How did all that Detroit iron make it to Bombay
Well a little history. India had one of the most richest people in the world: The Maharajas (much like the Sheikhs of today). They indulged in nothing but the best. There were cars specially built according to their needs. Thats when all the "actual" customizing started.

Then there was the British rule in India. Cars were imported during their era too.

If you guys are really interested, check out this thread too on. It'll be worth a read:
