It'll be close, but the frames are really different. As PJ stated, its quite unlikely that it'll fit without mods.

Just wish I didn't get screwed on buying another 350 tank that was labeled "cl360".

Exactly LOL...just get the tank you want. And force that bitch to...umm..."bolt right up" so to say. If everything where as simple as "bolts right up" then everyones bike would be equally "cool"! and that would get very boring. Dont be afraid to do the work.
I put a 69 CL350 tank on my 76 CB360. After I got done working on it and working on it some more...now it "bolts right up" even though theres really no bolts to it.
and besides, there is very little personal satisfaction and zero growth in "bolts right up"
So, If you want a custom bike just roll up your shirt sleeves and get to work, building a custom bike. You might learn something about bikes, tools and yourself. And please dont get me wrong... it really doesnt matter if anyone thinks its cool as long as you think its cool.
I imagine you bought the 350 tank cause it fits your vision...so, quit wasting time hunting another tank, that may or may not fit, and make it, bolt right up.

The problem was that I purchased what i thought was a cl360 tank, and it ended up being a 350 tank.
I've got one of my 350 tanks to sit on the frame, but there is a huge gap at the triple.
Not to mention the pet cock is on the opposite side, causing the petcock to hit the top of my head.
Any ideas for this?
