Located in Dallas, TX. Starts, runs, ready for the road.
This bike belongs to a customer of mine.
You can see it is superbly restored. Whoever had their hands in this bike knew what to look for.
I don't know what the condition was originally, but I can tell you that it's current condition is almost show-worthy.
The only points I'd deduct from a perfect score are:
Sun-faded and slightly marred handlebar controls.
Leaking carburetors
Inline fuel filter
Rusty spokes (skin deep)
Non-functional stop-light warning relay
Then owner wishes to do some cosmetic work so that it can simply be displayed. Doesn't care how it runs, just needs to park it for show.
No offense to the guy, but it's gotta be loved.
He isn't selling the bike but said that he wouldn't turn down something worthwhile.
If somebody can shoot a reasonable number my way, I'll ask if he's interested. He doesn't have a lot of emotional investment, just wants what it would be worth.
Just thought I'd give this a shot before sending the bike to its eternal resting place.
