Is that the best you got? OK.. now my TURN...
OK Gents...All kidding aside... This topic is near and dear to my heart, I have 2 family members were survivors.
We were asked if we as a club, could sponsor the Annual Ride for Dad Fund Raiser for a cure to Prostate Cancer.
http://www.motorcycleridefordad.org/pel/content.php?doc=406
The official ride start at Fletcher’s Creek Community Centre (Ray Lawson Blvd and McLauglin Road).
At the start site, riders break off into smaller groups and travel from Brampton to Hockley Valley General Store; on to Creemore Springs Brewery, and back down through Orangeville, the Cataracts, Belfountain and back to Fletcher’s Creek. The route is just over 200 km
One of our members, who is also a Cancer survivor is joining the May 31st Ride.
I think considering that most of us are guys, a cure is definately in our best interest.
We are hoping to hit a target of anywhere between $200 & $300 for this cause.
If a bunch of us can pitch in $15-$20, or whatever, it would go a long way.
Pledges can be sent via payPAL to Heidi at:
sales@bluemetaldog.com
I think we are gonna shoot for a cut-off date of May 17/08
Tax reciepts can be issued for amounts greater than $20 and we'll post the total amount raised.
Its much appreciated guys... Thanks
Noel
