The two pulleys at the back (behind the crank) drive two magnetos, the head is twin plugged, the magnetos spark one of each per cylinder. This is because if one fails, the other can continue to ignite the mixture in the cylinder.. as with Nitro failure to do so can grenade the engine.
The pulley in front of the crank (low down) drives an oil pump.
A Honda 750 digger I started putting together. Unfortunately, it sold before I could get a finished picture. I've been selling off bikes and projects trying to downsize a bit. Warmer weather in the South has brought out the buyers!
Next up my 1963 Honda CL 72 (250cc). The Lucky Lady. It was TT and flat tracked raced in the early to mid 60s. Put back on the street sometime in the 70s. The knee pads on the tank are gold metalflake vinyl!
