Cichlid was too big to flush. I may have thrown it at a road sign at speed.

I am trying to clean up...and tighten up an old Bridgeport mill. Best project ever. Machine is so well designed and though out. Parts are easy to get and......it makes stuff .

Very nice! I wish I had more room for something like that. I have a friend nearby that has a mill, that's how I made my rearset brackets.

Amazing site, quality work on there. Shows there are still artisans out there. Did you have any formal training or just taught by family or on the job? Schooling?

I'll put up some pics of a few rifle cases I've made, nothing special. Need to find a decent pic ...

No schooling, I got my degrees in chemistry and biology. Just practice and a bunch of mistakes 8)

Sounds like a british motorcycle

Why? because British motorcycles don't have throttles either? Rich, if you are going to continue to take little jabs at everything I post, how about getting good at it first so it does not just make you look like what you actually are.

Rather because they were assembled from substandard parts which had a service life measured in drops of oil, and dependent upon constant maintenance.

And I'll happily admit that i am responding to each of your posts in the hope that you will either cheer up or go away. I don't expect to be successful but it certainly won't stop me from trying.

No shit when you gotta spend more time tring to keep a mower running that using a mower. you really need to weigh out the cost of new to spare time to fix ratio

Agreed.
I spent about 4 hours I my life today rebuilding the pump on my pressure washer. Turns out a replacement pump is like 40 bucks. Shoulda just got a new one.
Although I am proud of myself for fixin it from scraps in the shop haha.

Hey everyone so one of my other projects is my colt .22 m4. I don't know how many other gun aficionados there are on here, but I figured I would post a pic or two!

Kudos to you! I'd kick myself over that but I'd feel more accomplished too :p

I used to shoot 3-Gun until the wife completely fell off the wagon. Here's my competition AR I built a few years ago.

Competition shotgun. I put a longer barrel with fibre optic sights on it and a longer tube so it holds 8+1.
