I have a pretty bad ass 1978 p210 vespa racer Im looking to trade for a cafe racer type bike. Here's the pros and cons
Pros...
Deadly reliable.. 1st or 2nd kick scooter.
Fast! Not racey breaky fast but quick
pinasco 210 race kit. cases ported to match. and very nicely broken in.
after market race crank.
after market race clutch.
28mm delortto carb.
Jl lefty race exhaust.
bitubo gas shocks back and front
Lammy front fender
drop bars with carbon fiber upper head set.
race seat.
all new electrics

Cons.
could use a paint job.
second gear slips a little from time to time. Might be getting close to a new cruciform. $20 part. Just a pain in the ass.

Thats it really. Im thinking of selling it to get another bike but thought I might try swapping it just for shits and giggles. Id probally sell it for like $2000 ish. So that gives you an idea value wise. Id like a good reliable running cafe bike 200 cc to 500. a good platform for more but a start to a project would be nice. cb, kawi, yami, Im pretty open. Gotta be running and a few cafe type bits would be cool. Clubman/clip ons seat etc.
The vespa is in London Ont. Let me know if your interested.

The words "bad ass" and "race" should not be used ever about a vespa

I am a vespa fan. I had a pretty cool stella and I rode with a scooter club in provo utah. but its not the same thrill as riding a cafe racer. I can appreciate your scoot though, sounds like a super fun ride! good luck
