Pretty Cool...

ApriliaBill

Yeah...I'm old school.
This a.m. my kid and I blasted up Decker Canyon over to Mulholland and down the Snake for breakfast. As we were eating, the place broke out "Happy Birthday" as I was walking down a kindly gentleman I talk to every week was smiling. Norm, who has a bad ass Triumph Triple and just bought a FZ9, was celebrating his 88 B-day. 88 and still bangin gears... I have a 60 something salesman who's always talking he's too old to get back to riding. What a wuss.

Very cool you ride with your kid Bill Mines 19 and coming off 10 years of motocross racing now in the work force,(UFC) He cant wrap his head around a café racer or sport bike yet But Im still hoping! Gmr is my is my favorite Heading up Sunday Morning at 9am if your down for some spirited riding!

GMR? Not trying to be a jerk, but by 9 (we get out really early) we're usually already heading home. Between school and work I'm lucky I get him for Sunday mornings, then home so he can catch up on homework. Hopefully that will lighten up and at some point we can meet you for a ride. He's not my bio, I dated his mom about 15 years ago, we stayed tight even when his mom and I quit, but he finally got old enough to split from her, and after I didn't get to see him for six years, I took him in. Now we're trying to get him through college.

By the way, those are some very neat bikes you have there. I've owned some RD's and that bike your son is on, is one of my favorites. Shawn doesn't have your sons experience, he's new, but makes up for it with a lot of enthusiasm...
