Hi Guys,
I started this build back in February but then a deadline appeared 2 weeks ago so I've been rushing to make it happen. Here is the progress.

Picked up a non runner
Tear down
Swapped carbs to a fresh set of mikuni's to see how she ran.
Plan is to use an XS650 tank I have from another project. I'm in love with this tank.

Made a trip to Indiana to work with Cliff Meyer of MeyerBuilt MetalWorks to make build out the seat and integrate our loop.

Back at the shop I mocked up the new GSXR front end using the Cognito Moto adjustable triple tree. I plan to run 18's.
The XS650 tank has been gutted and the tunnel from the CB350 was patched back in to fit.

Laced up the wheels after powder coating the spokes gloss black and the nipples orange. This is a build for FOX so the Orange is an accent color. I've never tried to powder coat nipples and it wasn't so bad. Just had to be careful lacing and truing the wheel. I really like how it came out.

Threw the motor back in to make sure the tank cleared the upper part of motor. Front wheel and tire were ready but the rear wasn't built yet.
Got the rear wheel done and threw on some Mac pipes and reverse cone mufflers.
Headlight and mounting brackets by LSL and the ears are old CB750 motor mounts. Brings the headlight in a bit.
More pics. I have 13.8" rear shocks for the mock up.
Machined up some slugs and added 2.5" to the swingarm.

Everything ripped back apart for final welding then powder and paint.
I had a seat pan from Cliff and used it to create a bottom pan.
Should have frame and upholstered seat back tomorrow.

The Fox bike looks fantastic, Devin. I love the shape of the tank. How much work was there in adapting it to the 350 frame?
hello speedbump,
the bike is awesome, where did you buy those rear shocks?
Bike is looking great.
Like the way you set up the shock mounts to get them symmetrical. What size flat stock you used?
Great work on the seat pan. What shape was the motor in and what did you have do to get it running? Tagging along.

The tunnel from the cb350 was put into the XS tank. It's a good amount of work. The XS tank is about 4" longer than the cb350.

Motor wasn't horrible. Covered in grime. To get it started I hard wired the coils to the battery, added oil, cleaned up plugs and put a new set of carbs from another bike.
