Got the Dunlop D606 rear, Michelin T63 front combo mounted and balanced yesterday. Also had some motion pro lite-locks put in while I was at it. These were all mounted to the newly built cush drive DR350 rear wheel chronicled above. Holy. Crap. What a difference. Took it on a 75 mile jaunt today. No noticeable difference on the street but in the dirt, where it slipped before now it just digs trenches! Amazing difference. Also went from a 45 rear sprocket to a 47 for a little more grunt down low. Was still able to cruise at 75 with no issues with a full load of groceries and other parts and pieces from running errands today. Total success!
Had to cut a few new spacers on the lathe to centrally locate the wheel as the dimensions are slightly different on the cush hub. Used stainless this time and then used my chain alignment tool to get everything square. Spot on:
