Looks good bro. I will have to get up there sometime and check it out in person. I will have to get my tank up there as well and see what we can do. Kind of nice having you like 100 yards from my house haha.

Thanks fellas! The tail, I'm told, was from an early 80's KZ 1000 police bike? Been pluggin along on some lil things as time allows...

I love it! This is gonna be awesome when it's finished, I really like the distressed old school look.

Got the tank badges finished, well except for drilling the holes to mount...

I'd kinda like to see where this ends up. Interesting approach so far!

I was going to do something similar with my tank badges. What did you use?
Just a thin piece of brass sheet, actually from a yard sale candle holder ($1). Hand cut w/ snips, sanded w/ 220 grit, then rattle canned the logo and Sharpie for the "pinstriping", wanted it to look hand made, like someone did it back in the day in a dimly lit barn... LOL, Oh yeah, that was me last night?

Killer! I was looking at the pictures earlier in your thread and was wondering if you are going to hardtail it or if you are actually going to have s suspension setup in the back?
