Project record and planning notebooks

Hi Fellow Cafe Builders, So as I have been working on my cafe resto / mod CL350 I found myself making lists of parts needed or TO DO lists and such over and over again. It came to me that maybe having an organized notebook to keep track of things would be helpful. I then decided that others out there might benefit from such a notebook as well. So I have put together a 34 page 8.5 by 5.5 inch ring bound notebook to record or plan a custom build project (or restoration, or even just to record minor modifications to one's bike). I am calling the notebook the "Bike-Builder" project notebook. I had a friend help me with design and getting some printed and have some to sell. Having a project well planned out can save you a lot of time, frustration, and money. Having complete documentation of your work will enhance the value of your finished project bike. This notebook provides a tool you will need to plan and keep track of every aspect of each bike project; past, present and future. It also gives you a place to keep track of all of those great sources of parts, people, services and events you find and depend upon as you go making it a valuable tool for each new project. The notebook will also provide a convenient way to keep track of the money you spend on each project and will even help you track of the important maintenance of your bikes. If your interested go to my unprofessionally build web site
http://www.bike-builder.com to order one. Thanks Greg

Do you have any pics of the layout inside the book? A great idea, you could do an app too for the more geeky amongst us :)

Hi Maxray, Here is a pic of the cover and one of the title page of the notebook. Basically each page has the categories listed in the title page laid out with spaces to make entries in regarding each item listed. I hope I have losted all the things one might want to keep track of. And yes, an app version is in the works already soon to be released. My son is an Apple programmer and is putting it together for me. Cheers, Greg

HI all, Just to let everyone know. I have only had 50 of these notebooks printed up so far. Due to the low number of copies they are not cheap to print. I am only make about $2 bucks a notebook. Hopefull I can earn enough to get one or two parts I need for my CL 350 project in the end. The notebook is really meant to be a tool I found helpful and wanted to share with everyone. Greg

OK, project notebooks are going fast. To move the last few I am offering a discount! The last few are now $9.95. Get them while they're hot. Thanks, Greg
