IMHO the headlight is high but beautiful with those brackets. If the clubmans work out, could you flip the brackets upside down? Where did you source the brackets BTW?

I'll try flipping it once I get the backwheel on. I got the headlight and brackets from Benjie's. For the 360 you do have to modify them.

Short update: I got my exhaust mounted up. I can't remember, is there supposed to be a small gap between the collar and engine?

I'm trying to decide between using the CL's heat shield or not. I'll put up pics as soon as I have it on two wheels.

Speaking of getting it on two wheels, After a week of torches, wedges, pry bars and big hammers, I decided to just give up on the sprocket studs and put my tire on another wheel. Cafematty brought me an extra rear wheel cause he's awesome. Unfortunately I ran into a few problems (as usual, haha).

1. The rim on the new wheel was bent.
2. A spoke kit I ordered months ago only had HALF the spokes in it (still pissed)
3. I've never laced a rim

So I'm using my previous rim with half the previous spokes, the new hub and the half set of new spokes.

Old Rim Disassembled (doing it in the living room. Don't tell!)

So, with any luck, I should have the tire mounted and rim repainted by Tuesday Night or Wednesday. Also, I added a few more "before" photos to the first post of the thread. The previous photo made it look quite a bit more cherry that it was.

Re: CB360: Spartan UPDATED: Paint, front end on

I want to see a full side shot of the exhaust on the bike. Any pics?

Re: CB360: Spartan UPDATED: Paint, front end on

Mini update:
The wheel is trued and masked for paint (man, I hate masking wheels). Painting tonight over at Cafematty's house since his garage is decently warm compared to my sub 30 degree man cave.

In other news, the battery I've been waiting for since NOVEMBER 30TH has arrived. USPS sucks. They lost the first one but the seller is a good guy and sent me another one. Taking bets to see if it'll run the 360 without the electric start.

Re: CB360: Spartan UPDATED: Paint, front end on

Hey 66, I finally made my way to your build. Love the color, and the size of the bucket. Just one dudes opinion, I would run the clipons and ears to draw the bucket in and down. I also have a 78 CB400 parts donor if there are any bits that you might need.

Thanks for the offer! Clip-ons and ears are still on the table. Going to get it on two wheels today and take a better look at the stance and new bars.
