Project Tesoro: cb360 Brat build

Lookin good man! Are those the stock gauges? And also how are you running the wires for the taillight? Thru the frame or just ziptie it to the frame?

It's a CEV style headlight

No, the gauges are from dime city

Ill most likely be routing them under the frame somehow, but first things first I have to wire the darn thing and make sure it works haha

Funny you say that because when I bought it I thought thats what it was. Started to cut it with a dremel and found it really difficult. Looked on the receipt from the shop and it said "galvanized" next to it. Which I guess explains why its so tough :p

Really?? Shit I've been buzzing it with a Dremel...

Took off header, foot rest, kick start and brake to put the mystery gasket on. The old one was still pretty juicy and intact but piece of mind is worth so much more.

Still have to tackle wiring when I figure out what fuses are still good

Hopefully clear coat the tank and retrofit an H4 bulb in my CEV style headlight by the weekend

I happened on a way to retro fit my H4 bulb into the CEV bucket while keeping the focal length correct. It's not elegant but its sturdy enough to take vibrations and replace bulbs easily.

Re: Project Tesoro: cb360 Brat build - DONE (see some pics!)

Hey Everyone! So its been a long time coming but she's finally done! Got my license and gear and temp registration while I work out the red tape with the DMV. Took the bike to a big parking lot with a gas can after the DMV stop and after about 100 kicks she finally coughed into life! Trying to post a video of the first ride but for now here are some glamour shots.

The right cylinder is running really rich, tried playing with the mikuni adjustment screws but didn't have the patience and got on before she ran out of the splash of gas I put in her.

Might just ride it to a shop and have them tune it for me, but all in all it was a very exciting day
