Quick question about timing chain adjuster/plunger on CB175

I'm putting the top end of my CB175 all back together and have a quick question about the timing chain adjuster/plunger.

I know you compress the plunger into the head and hold it with the set screw. Once the head is reinstalled you loosen the set screw and the plunger pops out and presses onto the timing chain tensioner.

Once you do this what do you do with the set screw? Do you just lock down the lock nut on it? Or do you first tighten down the set screw and then the lock nut? or ??

Thanks!

I believe you let it adjust as it would naturally, giving the tension it needs, then lock the screw down at that point.

However, I am not sure and definitely not an expert. I am interested in this question too, just to know for sure.

Bump... anyone know? Gaskets showed up today so I'll be putting it back together here tonight.

So I re-reviewed the service book again, it does say once you've released the timing chain adjuster plunger, you should re-set the bolt and lock it.
