OK - so let's say 4th Wednesdays at the Carolina Ale House. That would be 27 October this month. 6:00 p.m.?

Any good bike nights we could plan around as a mid-month buffer?

Scot

I'm on for this 4th wednesday the 27th. I am actually healing pretty fast from my surgery.. so I might be able to ride sooner than expected. See you all in a couple of weeks.

I am also in for the 4th wednesday thing. 6 p.m. sounds like it could work for me for the most part, so I will see you guys there

OK, so there is a vintage gig in Greensboro this coming Sunday. I'll already be in the area (camping with my son), so I plan to stop by, though rideless. Some of you folks should consider riding on up....

Yeah, good meeting up with you guys! To the risk takers come the rewards... 8) Perfect evening for a ride too - awesome sky show.

Good on ya with tha Guzzi! I can't wait to see what you do with it...

Scot

Glad you made it home safe Scot - Had a blast with you guys as well. The guzzi was a great deal - you'll never know unless you try ;D

I grew up in the neighborhood right beside the NC fairgrounds flea market. I sharpened my teeth haggling with people at the flea market with the money I made from washing cars and cutting grass. I'm surprised that there has not been a craigslist most wanted ad...

I can't wait to get started on the Goose either. I just have another old flame that needs some final attention before I can get started.

Yeah, I hear you on that Eric.... My Tiger is in pieces in the garage at the moment... need to get the new work space organized so I can get to it....

Yeah I can't wait to fire it up. hopefully pretty soon ;D

How much you want for that old triumph Scot? I have a truck and can haul it off to the dump for you if needed ;D

Just let me know man!

Nah, I know better than to haggle with you, Man. I am sending Billy Joel over to get the Guzzi, though.

Scot stay away from Eric, you may end up paying him if he gets your bike, LOL

That Billy Joel interview was funny. Cracked me up when he was talking about signing stuff to get more money out of it - my kind of guy.

Eddie - no love man, no love... Don't worry Scot I accept master card, visa, and amex if needed ;D.

Learning from the best. I just picked this bad boy for $550. This will be next years project.
It starts right up, but need a new battery, tires, new mufflers, fork seals and boots, seat re upholstered, Ignition switch. Since I need all that, I will Cafe this bike .

Congrats on the new 450. It will be a nice bike. I have a 500T that I have fixed up and is mostly stock looking with a few modifications here and there. It was my dads first bike. He ended up selling it to my uncle back in the 70's and he let it rot...

wow Joe, that sure looks real good. You ought to take it out for some fresh air with us guys next time. Absolubtely beaustiful bike man. Are you almost done with your stove? We miss having you around. At least I do.

Thanks for the compliment. I thought about going the cafe route, and it really would have been a good candidate since it was so bad and everything was rotten, but since it was my dads first bike I thought I would keep it close to stock looking. I still want to take the motor out and freshen it up some and finish the detail work in the looks department. I just need more time! I keep telling my girl she needs to start making the big bucks so I can be a kept man and will be able to do some of these things... I tell her she needs to keep me in the lifestyle I am used to leading. This is what I get in response: ::)

Fireplace is not done yet, but getting lots closer. I took a couple of hours to go flog the Centauro today with Eric and a friend that was in town for the weekend. Gave it a pretty good work out. I found a forum for wood stoves and after reading a lot on there to decide what stove I should get to suit my needs, I joined it. There is a forum for every thing these days it seems. Meg was taking lots of photos so I decided to post up a "project" thread like we do on here. You can check it out here:

Will have it wrapped up soon hopefully, and then can start fitting in more play time!

Joe, that is AMAZING work. When Eric told me you were doing a stove i did not think it would be as intricate as what I just saw. My goodness you sure are handy. Looking really good. First time I have seen a welder inside a house to :D

I bet the miss's is really happy with your work.
Hope to see you soon.
