RD 250/350/400 Project

Anyone got a cheap basket case RD that they need cleared out of their workshop/garage/basement?

I don't need barrels or crankshaft or even crankcases, but I'll need all the gears and shifters and kickstarters etc. Don't need any electrics or even a rear wheel. I do need a frame and forks and some sort of tank and swingarm of some sort to modify. Don't need carbs or pipes either.

I offered to build a drag race bike for Mrs. Teazer so she has her own bike to race. I have some TZ parts left over including TZ crank and ignitions and carbs and Swarbrick pipes but I need a wet clutch and street transmission and obviously a frame to hang it all on.

Oh and it has to be cheap.

Thanks. Long way away but could be a good starting point. I'll see what he wants for it. Shame of it is that I sold a truck load of RD400 projects and parts a few years ago and "gave away" a pile of great parts. But I had moved and needed to get rid of stuff.

I would consider selling this, it is an RD250 with XS650 forks, swingarm and wheels. I bought it just like this a couple months ago. No title, located about an hour SE of Pittsburgh. I will probably keep the RD motor and the bars but it came with four R5 motors so you could have a couple of them.
