oh man, the 360 had too much motor for ya? ;D

jokes aside, ive seen some really cool stuff done with the ruckus platform. any parts they sell for it seem astronomically expensive, though. I dont know that the dollar cost is worth the end result, but that goes back the small cc nature of the beast. make a thread if you do it. im sure they'll be a good amount of forum interest.

Another great season riding this gem of a bike! I have no changes to report however thinking of upgrading to Mikuni's and a MAC 2 into 2 new exhaust. Not so happy with my current exhaust sound and carbs are working but I think new ones would be great.

I started another project bike

It's a 1990 VTR 250 Interceptor that I will be using for on track only. Had it for three weeks and she's pretty much ready for my first test at a track day this Saturday!

Great to know it's still running fine, very rarely see any feedback after a project is finished.
Haven't been inside a VTR250 for a long time (around 1985~86)
they need a lot of rpm to work
Handling was pretty good though from what I remember

Mikuni VM's need quite a lot of messing with to get working reasonable.
NONE of them are jetted correctly 'out of the box' although some sellers are better than others

I posted my bike on Kijiji for $4000 firm, not really serious about selling it. The next morning a guy asked when can I come get it? Damn. What to do. I don't have time to find and build a bike before riding season....I do have two other bikes..... Maybe I should let it go......

Hello all, I have been absent here for quite a while as my passion has been for road racing lately. I haven’t ridden the CB since 2015, and I’ve never finished setting up the Mikuni kit as I couldn’t solder the throttle cable...

Anyway, for two years I’ve had the original front end from my VTR250 race bike hanging there tempting me to put it on my CB360. (In late 2016 I built a 1990 CB-1 front end with cartridges for the race bike.) I kept thinking I have 17” alloys from the VTR250 that could work, but I really think spoked 18’s are the best Usually working on bikes is the only thing that calms my mind when I can’t ride and today I needed a distraction. The front wheel came out of the CB and I grabbed a VTR rotor from the parts pile. Ok, I can make that fit easy enough, but what size axle is in the CB? Awesome, it’s 15mm just like the VTR, so I grabbed the 250’s front end and put it in my work stand. The VTR250 axle went in the CB360 wheel without spacers, and I tightened the caps. The short of it is, it fits great and it looks great! It keeps the period look but goes from 31mm legs to 35mm and it will have awesome brakes with the single 310mm rotor. Also, internally the fork is well set up with springs and emulators. I raced with this fork for two and a half years. As far as fabrication goes, I’ll need two axles spacers, 4 holes drilled & tapped in the hub and I’ll probably have a bit of work with the steer tube. From there it’s just a matter of reworking my dash layout and I may make a new upper triple because the VTR250 had a fuse box under a plastic cover up top. I am once again motivated to work on the old girl

If you’d like to use this front end there is only one negative, they only offered it for one year 1990, and it’s hard to find.
