Rear tire width for a 73 TX650

Does anyone know if a 130 wide tire would fit on a stock rear wheel on my 73 TX650 wheel?

Can I possibly put a 150 back there without rubbing issues? I believe the stock tire is still on there right now. It has cracks and I want to replacethe front and back.

maybe, but you only have a WM2 (2.15") rim.
A 120 would be better for handling and wear
You can get a WM 3 (2.50") or WM4 rim from Buchanan's to fit 140 tyre but it is expensive (about $200 without spokes or building wheel)
A 130 wears out real fast on narrow rim as it gets higher not wider.
I fitted a 140 Dunlop on back of my XS, up 10mm from stock 130 (WM3 rim) and only got about 2,000 miles out of it
I only paid $45.00 for it though so wasn't too bothered,(NOS)
If I had paid full retail (about $190 at the time) I would have been pretty P.O.

Thanks PJ. I have one more doubt.
The buchanan website lists these to be the measurements for the following rims:
WM2 (1.85)
WM3 (2.15)
WM3 (2.15)
WM4 (2.50)

So is what i have then a 1.85" wide rear wheel?

Duh, big oop's, what can I say? (I'm still sick ;D)
I was thinking CB360 again for some reason?
XS650 has WM 3 rear, (2.15", I just fitted some to my CB360 8) )
XS650 has WM2 front and WM3 rear
Should have said WM3 and WM4, you have correct sizes from Buchanans.
Tyre recommendations still stand though.

Awww man I was hoping a 130 wide tire in there would fit without later issues. I gues a 120 is all I can do for now.

Thanks PJ
