Refund Check

Decided to save most of it for a perfect score later. However I did spend a little at Harbor Freights Tent Sale!

Compressor and Soda Blaster

Soda Blaster will be used on my next project. Rebuilding and polishing a spare 350 motor.
 
Whats suposed to be Titanium about your set?

Did my taxes today, The wife had to pay around $360 and I got $380 back.... Better then the other waya round.

Titanium Nitride coated???

Ive used there carbon steel kit and it sucks...thought I would try this one.


Money back is always best! :)
 
I dont hold much faith in the "titanium" coatings. Its a good set for general use but if your getting serious, I reccomend looking for a good high speed steel.

it was on sale for like 65 so I thought id try it.

I have the same set and the Ti is at least three atoms thick. The taps are okay, dies are junk.

Same compressor, too - that I've been quite happy with.
 
If you can wait until they're on sale, HF also sells a hose winder (not the self-winding kind) - at $20 or so it is well worth it.
 
Have any of you ever used there hone? good? Bad? ugly?

i know its only been a couple of days but did you get to use that blaster yet?got my eye on that one and want to know how it worked for you.

I'm assuming that is a fancy word for a moisture filter??? And if that then yes. It only clogs when it is full...if you smack it a few times every few minutes it works really well.

Stopped back at harbor frieght and sure enough there they are...dessicators. Never knew that is what they were called.
