regulator rectifier sonreir black wire lost

Does the black wire from my reg/rec plug into the black wire bullet spot that comes from my solenoid? Also what purpose are solid yellow wire, and the green wire with a yellow stripe? Ok so the black reg rec wire plugs into the black wire coming off the solenoid? The 2nd solenoid wire is a yellow with red stripe.

The black wire coming from the regrec and black wire coming from the solenoid are my main focus, it's for a customer I just want to make sure it's right. I think they plug into other.

They are the two wires on the left the picture side by side. I ran his bike without them plugged in for 20 minutes or ran good, but I heard not having that reg rec wire plugged in will fry things.

It was ran without that reg rec black wire hooked up for 20 minutes, now today the starter just clicks like something got messed up. What did ifry? I tried a new solenoid and it didn't help, thoughts?

If you have a spare black plug on the solenoid, then yes. One black is as good as most others when plugging in the R/R.

Just don't unplug the solenoid completely or it will no longer work.

Ok so I just plugged the black reg rec wire into the black wire coming 3 inches off the starter solenoid (with the yellow right beside it). hope were good!

Yup. Any black will do for the R/R.
