So I've determained that the reason I've blown my damned headlight so many times is because I tend to rev the hell out of my bike, and my rectifier is toast. I have an 81 GS 400. Here's my question: Do I have to buy the exact regulator rectifier or can I get away with using one off another similar vintage suzuki? The only one I can find online on ebay is $90 and I'm trying to go cheaper than that. Any experience here and or advice? thanks.
