Reliable Seattle shops?

Twinline dialed in my CB400f. I had them do a lot of little things so they had it a long time. It seems like if you just needed something basic they would turn it around for you quickly.
If you have a BMW this guy is my neighbor and really knows his chit.

Did you have him help you with something on your bike? I think I'll hit him up

My friend Chris had him put Clubmans on, and he's been super helpful with my questions. I'm hoping to drop my bike off one of these days to have him stick clubmans on mine as well and give it a once-over.

Hey, at least I do my own oil changes : )

It's simple economics, really - I run my own business and we're absolutely swamped. We work for $75 an hour. It takes the dude one hour to do it, at $50 an hour. It would take me like 4 hours, because I'd have to go buy a dremel tool so I don't have to pinch the wires, I'd screw X Y or Z up and etc. Basically I can pay somebody $50 bucks to do it, and do the work I need to be doing, or do it myself and lose $300 worth of work, plus have to spend money on tools.

That's not to say that I don't enjoy wrenching on the bike; I just installed a new battery and rectifier, and I've got some brake pads that I'll be installing, but sometimes it just makes sense to do it this way.

I met Jeremiah today - he's a super cool dude - I highly recommend him.

Haha was that you there around 12-1. I went to run some errands after your post yesterday so I went by there while I was out and bought the clutch cover he had that I needed. When I left somebody showed on a vintage Honda.
Jeremiah does seem like a really cool down to earth guy to me to. He gave me some good advice on how to approach my spare motor as far as rebuilding it and performance coating it.

I have a set of clubmens I took off my bike if you want them let me know. Switching them out is easy and if you want to come by some evening we could do it in about an hour.

Hah, awesome! Yeah, that was me- Jeremiah actually switched mine out for me and installed an H4 light and ran some tests on my charging system. It was cheap, and now that the cables are run outside of the bars it'll be a lot easier to swap bars. Your bike looked good!

I'm going to have him verify that the ignition/timing, valve clearance and camchain are setup to specs and then clean/rebuild my carbs next week.

Rad. My friend Chris is up for a ride around Seattle on Sunday, but he probably won't be able to make it out to Vashon, but he'll be with us if we hit up a lunch place around here.

Cool, I'll pm you my phone number so we can talk Sunday morning about the probability of rain.

Excellent. We should see if Jeremiah wants to come too actually.

I did a little mockup thing for his shop this morning - I have no idea what he'll think of it, but man, he needs a new website/branding...
