Rewiring - What to do with that 3rd generator coil on a cb200?

I'm rewiring my cb200's headlight with a DPDT switch. But after some research it looks like originally the yellow and yellow/whites wires were routed through the original headlight switch so that when turned on it added a 3rd generator coil which I guess gave more current for the light. Read online that maybe without the light on, there might have been too much current for the battery to absorb.


So what should I do here as far as wiring that 3rd coil? I'm going to run a little 3.5Ah sealed lead battery. But also am only running the original headlight plus an LED tail light (no signals or running lights). Should I just delete the circuit for that 3rd coil or should I wire it to be always on?


I don't think wiring it through the DPDT switch is an option, is it?
