RPM's WAYYYYYY too high on idle, throttle cable woes

Been Around the Block
Was having insanely high RPM's, turned out to be my throttle cable routing. I pulled the tank, disconnected the cable and manually fed the bike gas which fixed the problem. I then re installed the throttle following the proper routing, still manually feeding gas and the bike worked flawlessly. Awesome. Reinstalled the tank and it started doing it again. What in the hell.

I'll rip the tank off and ensure the cable didn't move which seems unlikely, but what else could be going on?

Solved! Turned out being some interference between the choke cable and the throttle boom. Problem solved.
