Seat options that fit without hacking frame

What seat options are there for a cb550 that doesn't require cutting up the frame? I just refuse to cut the frame. I will not molested my bike like that. Would it just be best to buy a stock seat pan and build/upholster a seat?

That's what id recommend and probably the least hassle. You can always modify the stock pan or use it to make a fiberglass mold. I used the stock pan on the GS and just thinned the foam and reupholstered it. Has a stock-ish look but much cleaner.

I took the original seat pan and cut it to fit my fiberglass seat. Not the proper way of doing thing but it works.
