Selling my Radian..

You wouldn't happen to have an extra swing arm lying around that you would part with cheaply would you?
 
Nope.. But there's a Radian for sale on Craigslist that has been stretched and raked.. I'll bet he's still got the swingarm.. Worth a shot, hope that helps.
 
Thanks man, good luck with the swing arm! I gotta ask, why are these swingarms so in demand? I've seen a few different threads about the Radian swing arm.. I dont get it. Do tell..
 
I am using it on my GT380. Apparently it lengthens the rear end by two inches so it increases stability. Plus it is aluminum and I am assuming lighter than the factory steel swing arm.


And it looks sweet. :D

Apparently they will bolt straight into an XS650 as well.
 
Ah.. Thanks guys! Now I understand seeing as they are a direct bolt up to the XS, and aluminum...Makes sense.
Joe- I'm close. Gotta sell Black Betty, got a couple bites last night..Seems people just can't believe me when I say it's an '86 with 10k miles and I have the title.. The GA used moto market has been abused, people are so skeptical, lol..
 
Always liked the Radian. We have an FJ600 in the garage (essentially the same bike/engine) and it screams! Too bad I have so many scoots already. Atlanta isn't that far away....

Thanks guys! A lot of interest. I thought I priced it high, guess not. Just met a guy at lunch to look at it and said he'd take it, but he had to go get a ramp. I had to get back to work so I told him to go get a ramp and meet me when I got off work. Then had a guy wanting it if this guy falls through, said he offer a hundred bucks more.. Hopefully it'll be sold tonight one way or the other. Trying to line up meeting the guy for the Monster..Fingers crossed!
 
Man u should keep the Radian. Ur the only person on here cept me that has one. They are being parted out at a rapid rate and soon they will be scarce as hens teeth.bj
 
SOLD! Dude that bought it was really cool. He and his girl came over (It was for her). He rode it home from Roswell to somewhere on the other side of Lithia Springs, quite a ride..Rushing to beat rain I'm sure. He text me when he got home praising how well "Black Betty" handled 80 on the hwy. I'm stoked for him.. Stoked for me to, just locked down my Monster.. More to come soon. ;D
 
Joe - Yes I did look at the Sv's.. You WILL NOT believe what I got the Monster for..I got a 2004 Ducati M800. I went and checked her out at lunch, having service done and picking her up in a week.. It's a done deal, PAID...
Can't wait to pick it up next week!

I honestly ran across a guy who didn't need the cash, or the bike for that matter. An older gent. He rode it though, 20k miles. Said he'd rather buy a boat this season instead of risking it on the bike. I've been scanning ads daily for almost a year now, waiting for my "great white buffalo". Here she is. Full service records, (showing it was due). Has some Carbon already. bar end mirrors, anodized gold pieces here and there. My fav part is the tail light.. It's an LED Rear/Brake/ and signal all in one:
